Includes minor user interface fixes and enhancements. Nixes a crash that could occur when part of an audio file can’t be read while an audiobook is building. The Save menu item is now disabled after you save your work. Now preserves metadata when adding VBR MP3 files that lack a duration value. No longer over-shrinks artwork when adding Music or iTunes tracks when the original artwork was saved at more than 72 DPI. Larger Books libraries will probably require more of a delay. On macOS Catalina and later, increases the default delay between launching Books and actually adding your audiobooks to Books, so Books won't play the audiobook automatically. Prevents a crash when your Part Style is Per Chapter and a Chapter is longer than the maximum Part length. This hasn’t prevented playback in Apple’s audiobook or music players, but could’ve affected third-party players or devices. Zaps a potenial ‘mdat’ atom length issue. Includes minor user interface adjustments. Corrects an issue where some MP3 files might come into a project a bit - in some cases more than a bit - shorter than the original on macOS 11.4 Big Sur and later. Year, or ‘ ©day’, metadata is now encoded as a full date, giving players that can show the month and day more to work with. Improves build times by up to 20%, depending on disk performance, and writes significantly less to disk in the process, saving wear and tear. Corrects an issue that can cause error -17771 when building. Prevents a rare situation where audio may be out of order in the final build of an audiobook.
